6th Annual Golf Classic for Kids
Thanks to fundraising events like Sierra Forever Families' Golf Classic for Kids we have been able to place nearly 2,500 children since we opened our doors in 1983. On September 27 you can help a child find their forever family by being a sponsor and participating in our 6th Annual Golf Classic for Kids at the Serrano Country Club.
This is a premier event at one of the most beautiful golf venues in the Sacramento area. As a sponsor, you will receive recognition for your support and enjoy a great round of golf - all to support a great cause!

"SON OF" A SENSE OF PLACE - Crest Theatre in Sacramento - 7:30pm

Sierra Forever Families is excited to share with you a very special event taking place on October 2, 2010 at the Crest Theatre starring renowned trial attorney Joe Genshlea, a multiple award-winning litigator with Weintraub Genshlea Chediak, and Sacramento native.
“Son of” A Sense of Place is the sequel to the 2008 performance of A Sense of Place (performed at the Sacramento Theatre Company) which was wildly popular. In this highly anticipated sequel Mr. Genshlea will share a new collection of stories, observations and humor about growing up in Sacramento during the ‘30s and ‘40s. Included in his storytelling will be aspects of his hilarious and moving journey from childhood to manhood, from the Central Valley to Baghdad-by-the-Bay, from ethnic identity to ethical behavior.

Included: VIP seating in lower floor level and an exclusive
pre-event reception featuring complimentary hors d'oeuvres
and wine provided by Revolution Wine. VIP Reception begins at 6pm.
